ABOUT

My name is Caitlyn Jade King. I'm a ceramic artist and teacher living and working on Gadigal Land, Sydney.

My work moves between sculpture, objects and functional ceramics. I'm interested in repetition, construction and the way separate parts can be built into larger forms. Most of the time, I'm making things out of clay that probably shouldn't be made out of clay.

My practice changes a lot. I make things, test things, repeat them and usually follow whatever I'm most interested in at the time.

Alongside my studio practice, I teach ceramics and run workshops across Sydney. I also do wholesale and commissions.
