Inspired by the medieval mace, this piece references one of the earliest blunt weapons used across Europe and the Middle East. Maces were designed to crush armour and helmets when swords could no longer penetrate metal. This sculptural ceramic version reimagines that form as an object of craftsmanship rather than weaponry, paying tribute to the history of medieval combat and metalwork.
